Unique programmes to help people progress to a forever home

Our mission

The social housing market in the UK has reached a crisis point, with 1.3M people on waiting lists and 113,000 households in England in temporary accommodation.

40% of homeless households are placed in costly, often undersized, poor quality nightly-paid accommodation requiring heavy subsidisation by local authorities, pushing a growing number of councils towards bankruptcy.

We have combined fresh thinking with innovative technology to develop Pathway to a Permanent Home, a highly scalable social housing scheme.

The Pathway Scheme has the potential to resolve chronic shortages of temporary accommodation and social rental stock in a cost-effective way for local authorities, relieving pressure on their budgets while improving health, education and economic outcomes for homeless households.

Our social housing solution also has a strong, unique social mobility approach that incorporates initiatives to progress social housing tenants towards private sector rental and ownership.

Team

The Pathway Scheme was founded by Liqquid, a homeownership app that aims to help get more people on the housing ladder, and to help homeowners manage their home equity value in new, flexible ways.

We have an entrepreneurial team with a blend of experience in real estate investment and development, fund management, social and affordable housing, building marketplaces, equity and debt trading technology and artificial intelligence.
